Just 15 minutes ago, law enforcement officials at Camp Mystic announced a chilling breakthrough in the ongoing investigation involving the 27 missing girls. Authorities have officially identified the last known location of Girl #27, the only child who has not yet been found.

According to investigators, a team of officers and canine units traced a faint trail to a secluded clearing behind the northern firebreak, an area previously dismissed as low-risk. In that very spot, police recovered a torn piece of fabric, consistent with the clothing worn by the missing girl on the day of the disappearance. Nearby, footprints believed to match her size were also discovered, abruptly ending at the edge of a steep ravine.

“This area had no surveillance coverage and was considered outside the original perimeter. We now believe she may have been led or chased here,” a lead investigator told press at the scene.

Authorities have now expanded the search zone, calling in rescue divers and drones to comb the rugged terrain, including a fast-moving stream running along the ravine's base.

Camp Mystic has been on lockdown since the discovery, with remaining staff and volunteers being questioned once again.

The girl’s identity remains protected, but her family is said to have been notified and is on-site, visibly shaken.

Officials say the next few hours will be “critical.” The community is holding its breath, hoping this is the clue that finally leads to a safe return—or at least, closure.
