After more than a decade of waiting in pain and hope, the family of Thomas Robb, 87, has finally received the answer they had been searching for. Police in Scotland have confirmed that human remains discovered in a wooded area near Carron Valley, Fintry, are those of Mr. Robb, who went missing back in August 2012.
Authorities stated that his death is not being treated as suspicious, and efforts are now focused on finalizing identification procedures and returning him to his loved ones.
The Robb family expressed both sorrow and relief at finally knowing where he was. A police spokesperson said:
“The family has been waiting for answers for 13 years. We are providing them with specialist support during this difficult time.”
Local residents have also shared condolences, remembering Mr. Robb as a kind man who enjoyed taking walks around Carron Valley and was well-known in the community.
