FRESNO, California – A Fresno family has found long-awaited answers in the search for a young mother and her baby daughter who went missing last month.
Whisper Owen, together with her 8-month-old daughter, was last seen on July 15 as they traveled from Sacramento to Fresno for a doctor’s appointment. That same day, they also stopped to visit some of Whisper’s relatives, including her mother and brother.
Tragically, the two were never seen alive again.
For weeks, Whisper’s family held onto hope, driving back and forth between Fresno and Sacramento in search of clues along the routes she may have taken. Loved ones described the experience as an agonizing wait, marked by uncertainty and desperate prayers.
