Anna Kepner ex boyfriend, recalls his ex girlfriend, Anna Keplin’s step brother being obsessed with Florida cheerleader and wanting to date her and witnessing the sibling acting creepy around her. 

The ex boyfriend of Anna Kepner, the Florida cheerleader who was found dead from mystery causes earlier this month on board a Carnival cruise ship has alleged seeing the the teen girl’s minor step brother’, who is now a suspect in her death, ‘climb on top of her’ during a FaceTime call.

Joshua ‘Josh’ Tew, 15, unsettlingly also talked about Anna’s younger brother hearing a ruckus on board the cruise ship where the two boys had shared a cabin with the 18 year old girl during the fateful Caribbean getaway trip.

The ruckus according to the Anna’s 14 year old brother involved Anna’s 16-year-old stepbrother, Timothy ‘Tim’ Hudson yelling at Anna, with chairs being thrown around the cabin room when the two were alone inside.

The ex said the young sibling told him the stepbrother barred his entrance into the room and then ‘heard her yelling at her in a harmful way, like ‘shut the hell up’ and stuff like that.

‘And that’s when he knew something was going on. There was screaming going on. Something was banging around, like chairs were getting thrown around in the room.

‘But he wouldn’t talk to me any more. He said the FBI told them that if they talk they’ll get arrested because it’s tampering with an investigation or something.’

Josh said he called the FBI because he was so concerned about that he had been told. ‘They told me they’re glad I gave them the information,’ the 15-year-old said.

Speaking to press, Thursday evening at the funeral wake for Anna, Josh Tew shared further unsettling details involving Anna’s step brother who was obsessed with the Florida cheerleader and who seemingly wanted to date her.

The grieving boy and Anna had dated up to a few months ago after meeting at school last year before the 15 year old breaking it off with the then 17 year old girl a few months ago.

The former boyfriend, speaking after Anna’s celebration of life in her home with of Titusville, Florida, said he ‘caught’ the 16-year-old stepbrother, trying to get on top of the teen nine months ago while on a FaceTime call.

He said was having a late-night FaceTime call with his then-girlfriend in the house she shared with her dad Christopher Kepner, 41, and his new partner Shauntel Hudson, 36, who had brought her children into the home when she moved in.

Anna was laying down and ‘he walked in there and tried to get on top of her … but he got caught by me in the process of it. I was like, “What the hell are you doing in her room?” Then he got scared and ran away. And I heard his footsteps running through the house because he got caught.’

He added: ‘She was too scared to tell anybody. Because that one time that he said that if she said anything about getting on top oh her he’d do something to her.

‘She told me that she was uncomfortable with them [his step relations] being at the house because she didn’t fully know who they were.

‘That their dad had just met this woman, not even like a year ago, and she doesn’t really like her… she has an attitude most of the time and was very controlling over her. But I told her, they’re going to be your parents at the end of the day, you know.

Anna slept in the dining room of the house. ‘But most of the time she did sleep in her friend’s beds and stuff because of her being uncomfortable with him being at the house,’ he added.

The boy was ‘obsessed with’ Kepner and relentlessly pursued her despite their blended family, Steven Westin, Josh’s father, told Inside Edition.

‘He’s infatuated, attracted to her like crazy,’ Steven claimed. ‘He always wanted to date her.’

Westin went on to claim that his son tried to warn Kepner’s parents, but they ‘didn’t want to believe me.’ 

At the time of her death, Anna Kepner had been on a six-day Caribbean getaway with her dad, Christopher Kepner, 41, stepmom, Shauntel Hudson, 36, siblings and step-siblings, including 16 year old suspect, Tim, when she was declared dead in the international waters between Mexico and Florida.

The latest revelations have since raised new troubling questions, including why Chris and Shauntel, who had been previously warned against Tim putting Anna in potential harm’s way by having the three teens share a single cabin room.

Reflected one reader on the web, ‘What the hell is wrong with that father and step mom? They put her in a cabin to share with her brother and the step brother? Especially since he was a predator I’m sure they knew what was happening Not only that but regardless She should never have been made to share that cabin with those boys They failed to protector her.’

While another stated, ‘I hope he gets arrested. It’s obvious who did it. The parents should be in trouble too. They knew about the predator behaviors of this minor child. I was sexually abused as a child as well and no one protected me either. May she rest in peace.’

To date the manner and cause of the Florida cheerleader’s death remained unknown. No criminal charges have been filed as of Thursday, Nov. 20.
