In a disturbing new twist to the Camp Mystic investigation, divers searching the muddy river near the camp have made a discovery that left even seasoned rescue workers shaken.
According to officials, the dive team was scanning a narrow, debris-filled section of the riverbank late this afternoon when one diver surfaced abruptly, calling for silence and backup.
What they pulled from the water was not human — but it was something that sent chills through the entire team.
🧸 A Doll’s Foot — And More Beneath the Surface
Lodged between branches and river sludge was a partially buried doll, its face caked in mud and its body bloated from the water. What caught the diver’s attention first, however, was a single, small, rubbery foot sticking up from the silt.
