BERKS COUNTY, Pa. – What began as a missing persons case has turned into a devastating tragedy for one Pennsylvania family.
Authorities have confirmed that 30-year-old Geraldina Peguero-Mancebo and her 1-year-old son, Jeyden Junior, were found dead in a field near East Huller Lane in Ontelaunee Township after a frantic search.
When investigators discovered their bodies, they made a chilling observation — both Geraldina’s and Jeyden’s faces were visibly bruised, raising immediate questions about what led to their deaths.
Family and friends are heartbroken, remembering Geraldina as a loving mother who adored her baby boy. Police say they are working tirelessly to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths and whether foul play was involved.
“This is an unimaginable loss,” a community member shared. “Our hearts are with their family as they seek answers and justice.”
The investigation remains active, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
