Just when you thought this case couldn’t get any more complicated… the latest twist has surfaced on her TikTok…

Lindsay Clancy update 🚨
just when you thought this case couldn’t get any more complicated…
after Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial ended in a mistrial friday when the jury could not reach a unanimous verdict, her attorney is now publicly asking President Donald Trump to consider pardoning her.
yes — you read that correctly.

on Good Morning America today, defense attorney Kevin Reddington directly appealed to Trump, asking him to consider Lindsay’s circumstances and what she has been through.
the jury reportedly ended up 11–1, with one juror preventing a unanimous verdict. Lindsay’s defense argued she was suffering from postpartum psychosis and was not criminally responsible for the deaths of her three children. prosecutors argued the killings were deliberate and premeditated.
and here’s where things get even more complicated…
Lindsay is facing state charges in Massachusetts, meaning a presidential pardon generally does not apply to her case. prosecutors also have NOT yet decided whether they will retry her.
for now, there is no verdict.
there is no final resolution.
and this case is far from over.
what do YOU think should happen next? 👇
please keep the conversation respectful. this case involves real children, a grieving family, mental health, and a legal system still trying to determine what happens next.
Annamae_16_2 on TikTok made a really great point for everyone defending Lindsay Clancy and claiming that Patrick Clancy came home from the store, killed his three children, gave Lindsay superficial cuts without her suffering any defensive wounds, and then pushed her out of the window before calling 911.
Again, Lindsay herself said that she did this. Her attorney reviewed the evidence and also acknowledged that she committed the killings. At no point did he present an alternate-perpetrator theory because there is no evidence supporting one!

But let’s also not forget that Lindsay filed a civil lawsuit alleging medical malpractice against her doctors a few months back. In that lawsuit, she goes into detail about what she says she was seeing and hearing around the time she killed her children. She also attributed the deterioration of her mental health—and ultimately the killings—to alleged medical negligence, not Patrick.
Let that sink in. Even in January 2026—three years after the killings—Lindsay, while medicated and more aware of her circumstances, was still able to recall what happened on January 24, 2023 and describe what she says she was experiencing at the time. And even to this day, she continues to place the blame on alleged medical negligence by her doctors—not on her former husband. So, why are some of you?
If anyone genuinely believes Kevin Reddington is going to risk his successful legal career, his reputation, and potentially his ability to continue practicing law just to push a theory in court that has been circulating online without evidence, I have a hard time understanding that argument.
There is a massive difference between questioning the evidence and creating an alternate theory that the evidence does not support. If there was legitimate evidence pointing to another perpetrator, Lindsay’s defense would have every reason to present it. But so far, that simply has not happened.
