A heartbreaking tragedy has shaken Bexar County, Texas, after two young siblings — a 6-year-old boy and his 3-year-old sister — were found dead together inside a hot car near Appleton Way and Chancery Gate.
Authorities say the discovery was made around 3 p.m. on what was described as a sweltering afternoon. Sheriff’s deputies confirmed that both children had been left in the car for hours.
Investigators revealed that the children’s mother told them she last saw the pair alive around 10 a.m. inside their home before she went to sleep. She is now being considered a “person of interest” as the investigation continues.
