UST DONE: Anna Kepner’s mother has just discovered a small box hidden deep inside her daughter’s makeup cabinet, a place she rarely touched. According to sources, the moment she opened the box, she froze in shock and immediately called the police.
Inside the box was a folded piece of paper, a SIM card, and a tiny silver pendant covered in dried stains. The note contained only one handwritten sentence, shaky and uneven, as if written in extreme panic:
“If anything happens to me, it wasn’t an accident.”
Even more alarming, the SIM card appears to have been deliberately removed from a phone — possibly Anna’s old device that went missing weeks before her death. Investigators believe it may contain messages or call logs that Anna tried to hide before something happened to her.
The pendant, although small, is the most mysterious item. It has two initials engraved on the back, but they do not match anyone in Anna’s family. Detectives are now trying to determine whether it belonged to someone she met recently — or someone she feared.
Authorities have seized the box and all its contents for forensic analysis. Police say this discovery could drastically change the direction of the investigation into Anna Kepner’s case.
