Camp Mystic – July 25, 2025 | 4:55 PM
After days of relentless searching, police have just uncovered a deeply emotional and devastating discovery at Camp Mystic, where 27 girls mysteriously disappeared during an overnight storm last week.
In a newly released video, police can be seen digging near the southern edge of the flooded campsite, where dogs had alerted earlier. What they pulled from the mud and tangled roots has left everyone shaken.
🎒 Small backpacks, drenched in dirt and soaked with water
🧦 Child-size socks tied in pairs with faded names embroidered
🧸 Stuffed animals, moldy but still recognizable — including a pink bear with one eye missing
✉️ Handwritten letters home from the girls, many unopened
One officer on site reportedly broke down in tears when pulling out what appeared to be 27 identical friendship bracelets, wrapped around each other in a small waterproof box.
“It’s like they left a message together,” whispered one volunteer.
This heartbreaking discovery reignites hope — and fear. Were these items washed away in the flood, or left intentionally as a sign? The girls are still classified as missing, not deceased.
