BOUNDARY COUNTY, ID — Authorities and the local community are urgently searching for 10-year-old twin sisters, Kiya Jo and Arianna Lynn Eliassen, who went missing in the early morning hours of August 27, 2025.

The girls were last seen around 2:00 a.m. near Mt. Hall School in Boundary County. According to family and neighbors, the twins may have left on bicycles — one pink, one blue — and are known to hide in barns, sheds, or wooded areas.

Descriptions provided by the Sheriff’s Office:

  • Kiya Jo Eliassen: 4’2”, 70 lbs, blonde hair, blue eyes. Last seen wearing white and black shorts with white slip-on shoes.

  • Arianna Lynn Eliassen: 4’2”, 70 lbs, blonde hair, blue eyes. Last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts, and blue tennis shoes.

The sisters’ disappearance is especially heartbreaking given their history. Their mother died in a car accident when the girls were only three years old. Loved ones say they have already endured more than most children their age, and the community is desperate to bring them home safely.

Residents in Boundary County and surrounding areas are being urged to:

  • Check barns, sheds, garages, and wooded areas on their property.

  • Review security cameras for any possible sightings.

  • Report any information immediately.
