Former White House Press Secretary and current Fox News anchor Kayleigh McEnany has welcomed her third child into the world — a bit earlier than expected.
According to a statement from the McEnany family, the baby was born healthy and both mother and child are doing well. The delivery, which came several weeks ahead of schedule, reportedly went smoothly at a hospital in Florida where the family resides.
What has captured the internet’s heart, however, is the baby’s first reaction — a tiny, sweet smile just moments after birth.
“Kayleigh and the baby are both doing great,” a family spokesperson shared. “It was a surprise to welcome the baby earlier than we planned, but everything went beautifully. The baby gave the most precious smile in the delivery room, and everyone — including the nurses — melted.”
The McEnanys have not yet publicly revealed the name or gender of the baby, though close friends suggest an announcement could come in the next few days. Kayleigh and her husband, former MLB pitcher Sean Gilmartin, are already parents to daughter Blake, 5, and son Nash, 2.
Just two months ago, McEnany made headlines when she revealed her third pregnancy live on-air during Fox News' Outnumbered, sharing her excitement and quoting a beloved Bible verse: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you” (Jeremiah 1:5).
Fans and fellow Fox News personalities flooded social media with congratulatory messages. “Kayleigh is such a light on and off camera,” co-host Harris Faulkner posted. “So happy for this beautiful blessing!”
Though McEnany is expected to take maternity leave, sources close to the network say she plans to return to Outnumbered after some time bonding with her new baby. “She’s always been a fierce multitasker,” one Fox insider joked. “But right now, she’s fully focused on her growing family.”
This unexpected but joyful arrival marks a new chapter for the McEnany family — one filled with love, faith, and a few more diapers.
Stay tuned — we’ll be the first to report when the baby’s name and photo are revealed. For now, America celebrates with one of its favorite TV moms.
