In a move that has both confused and captivated viewers, Kayleigh McEnany — former White House Press Secretary turned Fox News host — has launched a children’s show on the network’s digital platform, and it’s already the most talked-about thing in cable news.

Titled “Liberty Lane”, the program features McEnany reading classic children’s books, leading crafts, and gently introducing young viewers to concepts like faith, family, and — yes — constitutional freedoms.

“We want to inspire kindness, curiosity, and love of country,” McEnany said during the show’s premiere. “Children deserve truth, wonder, and strong values.”

But while parents across the country are calling the program “refreshing,” “wholesome,” and “a breath of fresh air,” critics aren’t exactly handing out gold stars.

Some media watchdogs and late-night hosts are already dubbing the project “Fox’s pivot to PBS with a twist of politics.” Others accuse it of subtly pushing ideology under the guise of storytime.

Still, the show’s debut episode — which featured McEnany reading “The Little Engine That Could” and explaining “what it means to never give up — even when the media doubts you” — drew record-breaking views on Fox Nation Kids.

Social media is, naturally, split.

  • “Finally, a kids show with morals and meaning,” one parent tweeted.

  • “Did we just watch Kayleigh McEnany teach a 4-year-old about the 10th Amendment?” asked another.

With segments like “Founding Fathers Finger Painting” and a recurring puppet named “Libby the Bald Eagle,” Liberty Lane is proving impossible to ignore — whether you’re a fan or a fierce critic.

As one viewer put it:

“It’s Mr. Rogers meets The Federalist Papers. Somehow… it works.”
