The FBI is reviewing hours of surveillance footage to unravel the mystery behind the death of Anna Kepner, the 18-year-old whose body was found stuffed under her bed aboard a Carnival Horizon cruise ship on Friday, November 7, according to reports.
The night before she died, Anna complained of not feeling well during dinner with her family — including her father, Chris, her 14-year-old brother, her father’s partner, Shauntel Hudson, and her 16-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter — and returned to a cabin, which Anna shared with the two boys, according to The Sun.

Her brother and stepbrother followed her, but only her brother changed and left the cabin again, the outlet reported on Thursday, November 20.
Surveillance video of the Titusville, Florida, high school senior with her stepbrother — who has been named in unrelated court documents as a “suspect” – has been uncovered, a law enforcement source told Fox News Digital in a story published on Wednesday, November 19.
Authorities are scouring through hours of video, and also have access to room key swipes, the source added to the outlet.
“I don’t know why Anna was staying in a room with her stepbrother,” Anna Kepner’s step-grandfather, Christopher Donohue — whose daughter is Chris’ second wife — told Fox News Digital.
“The FBI has kept us in the dark, never contacted us. The Kepners haven’t told us anything. We’ve learned from Facebook posts that the stepson is a suspect,” he added.
“All I know is that she went on that boat, and she never came back. Everyone is heartbroken. There are questions. I don’t think we’ll ever know,” he continued. “We are living a nightmare.”
