NEW ORLEANS — The search continues for 12-year-old Bryan Vasquez, who has been missing since Aug. 14 in New Orleans East.
Sunday marks 10 days since Bryan was last seen, and investigators say the search remains active.
Bryan’s family told police he climbed out of his bedroom window around 5 a.m. that Thursday morning. He was captured on neighborhood Ring cameras between 5 and 6:30 a.m., but has not been seen since.bBryan is nonverbal and was last spotted in the Michoud area. “He suffers from a neurodevelopmental condition, is non-verbal, and does not understand English or Spanish,” NOPD said in a release.
Local, state, and federal investigators have been searching the neighborhood for more than a week.
Police describe him as a Hispanic male, 5’1”, 86–100 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair. Bryan was last seen wearing an adult diaper and is believed to be on foot. Crimestoppers is offering a $1,250 reward for information leading to Bryan’s safe return.
