NEW ORLEANS — The search continues for 12-year-old Bryan Vasquez, who has been missing since Aug. 14 in New Orleans East.

Bryan’s family told police he climbed out of his bedroom window around 5 a.m. that Thursday morning. He was captured on neighborhood Ring cameras between 5 and 6:30 a.m., but has not been seen since.bBryan is nonverbal and was last spotted in the Michoud area. “He suffers from a neurodevelopmental condition, is non-verbal, and does not understand English or Spanish,” NOPD said in a release.

Local, state, and federal investigators have been searching the neighborhood for more than a week.

Louisiana State Police issued a Level II Endangered/Missing Child Advisory for Bryan Vasquez, 12, who is non-verbal and does not understand English or Spanish.

Police describe him as a Hispanic male, 5’1”, 86–100 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair. Bryan was last seen wearing an adult diaper and is believed to be on foot. Crimestoppers is offering a $1,250 reward for information leading to Bryan’s safe return.  Bryan’s family and law enforcement are urging the public to stay alert and report any information to Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
