Person who turned in backpack may help find man missing at Grand Canyon
The National Park Service is seeking to identify a person who turned in a backpack that may be linked to a man who has been missing for several days from Grand Canyon National Park.

Sandarsh Krishna, 26, was reported missing on the afternoon of April 28 from the park’s North Rim, officials said.
He is believed to have been carrying a black backpack, which may have been turned in to staff at Bright Angel Lodge about 7 a.m. the same day.
Investigators are trying to identify the person who turned the backpack in as there could be relevant information, the park service said, adding this individual was not a suspect.
The park service provided a picture of the person in question and asked anyone with information to call or text their tip line at 888-653-0009.
Krishna was described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a thin build, approximately 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing athletic clothing, according to the park service.
Krishna’s last known possible location was along the Rim Trail on Hermit Road, between Bright Angel Lodge and Mohave Point, sometime between 4 p.m. on April 27 and midnight on April 28, according to the National Park Service. Officials also said he may have used a rideshare or taxi service.
